At Bhupindra International Public School (BIPS), Patiala, the admission process is designed to be transparent, fair and child-friendly. We encourage parents to understand the school philosophy and visit the campus before seeking admission for their child.

BIPS offers education from Pre-Nursery to Class XII under the CBSE curriculum, with a strong emphasis on authentic Montessori foundations, academic excellence, sports, values and holistic development.

Admission Schedule

Admissions at BIPS are conducted as per official public notices issued by the school from time to time, generally December onwards prior to the beginning of the academic session. 

Parents are advised to follow the school’s official communication channels or contact the admissions office for the latest updates regarding the admission schedule.

Admissions are generally open each academic year for:

  • Pre-Nursery 
  • Nursery 
  • LKG / UKG 
  • Class I 
  • Class II

For higher classes, admissions are offered strictly subject to the availability of seats.

For certain classes, the admission process may include a written assessment and/or interaction to ensure that students can adapt comfortably to the academic environment.

Selection Criteria

To maintain a healthy teacher–student ratio and provide personalised attention, the number of seats in each class is limited. 

Admissions are granted based on:

  • Merit and eligibility criteria 
  • First-come, first-served basis (within the merit framework) 
  • Completion of admission formalities within the prescribed timeline

Parents are therefore encouraged to apply as early as possible once admissions are announced.

Documents Required

Parents should keep the following documents ready during the admission process:

  • Birth Certificate of the child 
  • Aadhaar Card of child and parents 
  • Passport-size photographs 
  • Transfer Certificate (if applicable) 
  • Previous class report card 
  • Residence proof

Admission Process – Step by Step

School Visit / Campus Interaction

Parents are encouraged to visit the campus to understand the learning environment, facilities and philosophy of BIPS. A campus visit allows families to experience the school environment and interact with the admissions team.

Parent Orientation

Parents are briefed about:

Application Submission

Parents submit the application form along with the required documents to the admissions office.

Interaction / Assessment

For certain classes, the child may be invited for an interaction session or academic assessment. This helps the school understand the student’s readiness and ensure smooth integration into the class.

Admission Confirmation

Once the process is completed and eligibility criteria are met, parents receive admission confirmation along with the fee payment instructions.
